    Hi Pendy,

    If you want to study Dance, Media or Film Studies there are plenty of options in the UK:

    UK High Schools

    GCSEs (Age 14 to 16): Subjects include Drama and Theatre Studies, Dance, Film and Media Studies;
    AS- and A-levels (Age 16 to 18): Subjects include Drama and Theatre Studies, Dance, Film and Media Studies;
    International Baccalaureate or IB (Age 16 to 18): Subjects include Drama and Theatre Studies, Dance, Film and Media Studies.

    Further Education
    (Ages 18+ or after leaving school)
    BTEC: Subjects include Performing Arts (Dance and Acting), Moving Image Production and Multimedia;
    First Diplomas and National Diplomas: Subjects include Performing Arts (Dance and Acting), Moving Image Production and Multimedia;
    BTEC HNDs and Foundation Degrees: Subjects include Film and Television Production, Theatre and Design Practice, Performing Arts (music, dance or drama) and Creative Digital Broadcast Technology. Film, Media and TV production courses are also popular.

    Higher Education
    (College, University or specialist Performing Arts Schools / Conservatoires)
    Undergraduate Programmes (Bachelors/BA Degree): Subjects include Drama, Dance, Film, Media Technology or Digital Film and Television, Music Performance, Music Production, Composing, Popular Music Performance to Sound Engineering, Audio Production and Recording Arts, Music History, Literature and Theory, Music Psychology, and these can be studied together with business and management, languages or education.
    Postgraduate Programmes (MA/PhD/MPhil Degree): Usually performance, production, or composing of original work e.g. music, scriptwriting, producing plays, and may include theory, history and research.

    1. Dear Sri Karti,
      The answer to your question is, “it depends”. The timeframe will depend on your nationality, your current location, your desired study destination, your ability to prepare the necessary application, academic, language, financial, and other support documents required to successfully receive an offer letter, admission notice, and student visa. Generally each case might take between 3 months and 12 months to be processed and completed, and that depends again whether it is successful or not.
